On 15th of November, I 've decided to check out the Paya Indah Wetlands in Dengkil. There are numerous times that I saw the signboards, but didnt actually find the entrance. Well this day I must go and find it! (maybe find the swamphen there..)
The route to go there is simply easy.. go to Dengkil, from Shah Alam, I use the LDP and went straight to Putrajaya, bypass all the exits to Putrajaya and at almost the end there are a traffic light with the Dengkil Sign board. Turn right to dengkil. Within 2 km you'll reach Dengkil town. At the traffic light turn left.(The sign board isnt so clear, you'll tend to drive straight) Drive another 5km, youll pass by Pusat Serenti Dengkil on the left, a little further ahead you'll find a T juction to Paya Indah. The sign boards are quite clear. Admittance is free and you can drive around in your car just like safari.
On the way in spotted a bird on a branch.. just me, shoot first ask later..

With the long pointed knife I can tighten the very small screws..lucky there.. a blue-tailed beeeater perched quite near while doing this.. Oh well!
About the Purple Swamphen, the first time I saw it is at Putrajaya Wetlands. then at a swampy riverside at Puchong(I wish they didnt develop houses so near river). I felt I must get a clear picture of this beautiful bird.
So did I get it at Paya Indah?
